Filings

There are many types of fillings. Our dentists use resin-based dental composites – polymer ceramics (white fillings matching the colour of the tooth). Our choice of material is based on the fact that white fillings require only a minimum of drilling. Removing only the damaged part of the tooth while leaving the healthy structure intact, we extend the life of the tooth. Moreover, composite material offers huge aesthetic advantages. In the developed world, amalgam fillings are no longer in use. Due to the toxicity and poor aesthetics of amalgam as well as better-quality composites and new restoration techniques, amalgam fillings have been replaced by the above mentioned materials.
